If you're seeing the error message "You do not have permission to play this game" in the main menu when starting the game, this happens because Meta/Oculus is not granting you the proper entitlement for the game, even though you've claimed it already.
There are a couple of ways to fix this. We recommend you try all bullet points.
- Delete the game from your device and reinstall it. This almost always clears this issue up for most users.
- Sometimes, reinstalling will not clear up the issue. In this case, you will need to reinstall the game again and restart your device by holding down the power button until you see the restart option appear. Click it and wait for the device to reboot. Once that's done, please sync your device to your Oculus app by simply connecting your headset to the app.
By running through all of these steps, the game should now boot up and you should be able to log in.
