A voice listen rolloff for moderators only
Not plannedAs a creator and moderator in some social rooms, it is important to hear what is going on, but at the same time not so important for everyone to hear your conversation. The current voice roll-off is an all or nothing style feature. Meaning if you want to hear everyone, then everyone will hear everyone. There should be a separate and adjustable feature for roles to allow for listening, such as moderators hearing the whole room while the whole room does not hear them.
Example, 40 people in a room, current voice roll-off for Everyone role at 25m means everyone in the room has to be within 25m of each other you hear each other. In a social hangout space this is typical because you don't need to hear a group of people 50m-500m away. However, a moderator doesn't need to be hanging within 25m of each group to hear them. Kind of like Daredevil hanging out waiting to jump in to save the situation.
This feature could be listed under the same label as "Voice moderation" but not with AI like the Rec Center currently.

I think Faxo hit the right notes. While more moderation tools are always good, bad actors will not use it for its intended purpose.

Hello, yes it could be "practical" but it can also be quite dangerous for the personal life of players coming to rooms.
Especially since most of the rooms in this game are owned by children, it could quickly become controversial and result in 13 year olds starting to spy on players.
In theory this is a good idea, but the majority of players ( meaning children ) will not make good use of it.
Currently you can create systems with the radio system (with the game chip) to listen to what a player says even if you are far from him. But this is still quite intrusive and personally I don't want to go into a room where you can follow everything I say.
I hope that a feature like this will never happen on Rec Room, I hope you will understand my point of view.
