Idea to win favor for new watch

Lately a lot of people have been pretty angry about the new watch updates, me being one of them. So I was thinking if you are absolutely insistent on pushing the 2D watch menu why don't you make it more like the 2016 watch menu? It wouldn't blind most people not used to light mode since it seemed to be a bit darker so there really wouldn't be a need for dark mode, and more people would probably favor that old watch menu over the current one.

I can't really explain it but it's just something about the current watch menu that seems to annoy a lot of people and if you just changed up the style to something everybody has most likely seen before somewhere on the internet more people might favor it. Especially since it also fits the little hand notification you get coming out of your watch when you get a notification and it's sort of papery theme.

The modern theme of the current watch doesn't really fit with anything either which is something that this could fix. I also did a bit of thinking and one of the most annoying things for me anyways is the fact that there are wayyyy too many buttons on the watch menu which also takes away from the simple old-school theme.
