Bring the messages/notifications section back to Rec.net

Removing the "Messages" section of Rec.net has been a large inconvenience. Before today's update, which removed the notification and message section all together, it was a large inconvenience to have to go out of my way to get into the Rec Room app or game to view my messages. This was also largely inconvenient with the notification section too. I would really like the feature back.
