to optimize the way the game is controlled, most people think a "player get is screen mode" chip will do. and it will, kind of, but we can do better
to actually optimize your controls for everyone, we need a chip that gets the control scheme of the player. however, to make this actually useful, we need everything, including platforms with only 1 control scheme.
this next part isn't completely necessary, but it would also be cool if the control scheme was a new data type that could be used to map out unused buttons, or on mobile add more buttons on screen (with limits of course, creators shouldn't be able to make a room impossible to quit for a certain platform).
