Surveillance Cameras
I made this post on canny, so ill repost it here:
Like the "RC Car Set", Have a "Surveillance System Set" so we dont have to use the RC set as a surveillance system. It would display a box like the RC set when have selected in the "Create" tool of the makerpen.
Once placed, it would spawn a iPad like and size monitor, and Camera. The monitor would have 2 outputs, "Screen Switched" Execution, and a "Screen" Int. Screen Switch would Execute whenever the trigger is pressed, incrementing "Screen" by 1. The Camera would have "On", "Off", "Rotate X", and "Rotate Y" Executions as well as "X Rotation", and "Y Rotation" floats. First off, you can create a series of delays in a loop that Rotates the "XY" of the camera model via its joints (As seen in screen shot, referring to the custom chip that wouldn't be included (but would be nice if was included but i feel like that'd be too much) called "Rotation Pattern"). Then whenever the Screen is Switched, you can execute an if chain that executes a camera "On" if equals a specific "Screen", and "Off" while executing another if, and so on. So, basically, the cameras would be stationary vassals (that you could move around with maker pen of course) that whenever "On" would set the position of an invisible 'game-camera' infront of the lense of the 'vassal-cameras' (and follow its rotation), Thus there'd really only be 1 'game-camera', just 'teleportining' to the 'POV' of the stationary 'vassal-cameras' at all times depending on which camera is currently on. If more than 2 cameras are on at once, it COULD, spawn a 2nd 'game-camera', thus a 2nd Monitor (or splitting the original monitor's screen? Or to not overcomplicate things, just log "Too many cameras active at once!" or something", but that depends on how much like, CPU or whatever is left. But definitely should set a 'game-camera' limit too if needed. Thus whenever there's too many cameras on at the same time, it goes ahead and logs "Too many cameras active at once!". This would be very convenient for things like fnaf maps, and generally just really cool. Also, to JUST get more cameras, I think its fair to just copy and paste the camera from the original set you placed. And maybe you could define 'Surveillance System Sets' by having like, an int input for monitor and cameras called "Set", thus only a Surveillance System Set with their "Set"s set to 0 will be separated from a Surveillance System Set with their "Set"s set to 1, but means 2 'game-cameras' would be needed.
