Below you can find our compatibility list and the minimum device specifications required to play Rec Room on some platforms. If your device does not meet these minimum required specifications, you may still be able to play; however, you may notice a degraded experience as we do not test or fix bugs on unsupported devices.
PC:

iOS:
Your device must have at least 3GB of memory to be compatible. A list of currently compatible* devices:
- iPhone SE, 7 Plus, 8 Plus, X, XS, XS Max, and XR, 11, 12, 13, 13 Pro, 14, 14 Pro
- iPad (2017, 2018), iPad Air 2 and iPad Air (2018), iPad Mini 5 (2019) and 6 (2021), iPad Pro
- iPod Touch (2019)
We do NOT currently support these devices:
- iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 8
- iPad Air (2013); iPad Mini 2, 3, and 4
- iPod Touch (2015)
*Newer iOS devices than the ones listed will be compatible.
Android:
Your device must have at least 3GB of memory to be compatible. Your device may be compatible if it meets these specifications:
- Phone or tablet released after June 2019
- 3GB of memory or more
- Running Android 10 or Android 11
PlayStation:
A list of currently supported devices:
- PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 5
- Original PlayStation VR support available for all of the devices above. On PS5, you must download the PS4 version of the app for PSVR1 support.
- We currently do not support PlayStation VR2 support for the native PS5 build.
Xbox:
A list of currently supported devices:
- Xbox One, One S, Series S, and Series X
Oculus/Meta:
Your device must have at least 3GB of memory, be a 6DOF headset, and be powerful enough to be compatible. A list of currently supported devices:
- Oculus Rift CV1, Rift S (requires PC, see above for PC specifications)
- Meta Quest 2
- Meta Quest Pro
We do NOT currently support these devices:
- Oculus Quest (Quest 1)
- As of April 2023, there is a critical bug affecting the ability to play Rec Room on Quest 1. We will not be fixing this issue and have started the process of fully removing Quest 1 support. More information here.
