We have a couple of launch options for power users that utilize Steam. Here are some of them below:
-screen-width [x] -screen-height [x]
This parameter lets you adjust the render resolution for the game. You can also use this to fix your game window should the game appear letterboxed, or you have another resolution issue.
Here's an example of how this parameter is used when playing on a 1080p monitor, which is the resolution most commonly used in computer monitors.
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
If you're using another resolution, you will need to enter your correct resolution. You can also use this setting to purposely set either a higher or lower resolution, just make sure the resolution you're entering is the correct aspect ratio for your monitor.
You'd want a higher resolution if you want to supersample your image so the game looks less aliased, or you'd want a lower resolution if you're having trouble running the game at a stable frame-rate and want to minimize the rendering workload on your device.
+username:
This parameter tells the game to automatically login into the username specified. This saves some time by skipping the login menu.
Here's an example of how it is used. Simply replace "Coach" with your @username.
+username:Coach
If you wish to re-enable the login screen so you're able to switch to another account, simply delete this from the launch options.
+forcemode:vr & +forcemode:screen
This lets you start the game in your desired mode without having Steam pop up the option to start the game in either VR or non-VR (screenmode).
Here's an example of how it is used.
+forcemode:vr
or
+forcemode:screen
