We are not able to credit, transfer, or gift any items that were previously under a timed obtainability promotion period if you did not obtain them when they were originally available. These items are also not granted as part of a reward for a bug bounty or security vulnerability submission.
Any Item not listed above outside of contests/leagues is subject to return. Other store items not necessarily part of an exclusive promotion or event are only available during certain seasons or holiday periods and are not always available, but may return.
Regarding Contest & Sponsored League Items
- We have no plans to sell or distribute any contest or sponsored league items outside of their appropriate context. These items are prestigious and only the users who participated in the competition they were given in are entitled to the item(s).
- Build Contest items are exclusive to their respective contest and will never return in a future contest.
- Example: The Solstice Creator Contest had an exclusive Maker Pen and Avatar Set. These will never return or be issued out in a future Creator Contest.
- Any other contest (Video Contests, Photo Contests, Art Contests, Reclympics, etc.) can have their prizes re-used for future contests where it makes sense.
- Example: We have had multiple Photo Contests in the past 5~ years. In these contests, we have issued the Golden Camera Skin as a prize multiple times.
- Items obtainable via a Sponsored League will remain only obtainable via Sponsored Leagues where it makes sense.
- Example: Paintball League = Only gold paintball items are issued here.

- Clarified that unobtainable items will not be granted as a reward for submitting bug reports, exploits, or security vulnerabilities, no matter the severity. This may have been the case in the past, but we are no longer doing this, no exceptions. If you have a security vulnerability to report, we pay out industry competitive cash rewards via bugcrowd. If you have a regular bug report, contact us by submitting a ticket here on Zendesk.
- Reworded the 2nd paragraph regarding which items are subject to return. Any item that is not in the primary list above, is not a contest item, or is not a sponsored league reward, is able to return.
- Fixed an issue with the Rec Room Early Access Shirt entry. It should be listed as 2021, not 2022.

- Added Space Visor (Neuron), which was the exclusive promo item for the Android Launch. Similar to the iOS item, it should be on this page.
- Added Rec Room Early Access Shirt (5th Year Anniversary & out of Early Access 2021), which should be on this page.
- Added Laser Tag Alpha Team Shirt (Laser Tag Alpha/Beta 2017), which should be on this page.
- Fixed an issue w/ Art Festival entry, there was never a "Helper Hoodie" but a recolor of the Art Festival shirt for helpers. We have corrected this error. Both the attendee and helper tees will not return.
- Clarified that only the 2020 and 2021 Rec Con Hoodies colors are exclusive and will not return. These are the purple and orange Rec Con hoodies.
- Added 2020 Glasses, issued around New Years 2020, which should be on this page. They will not be brought back.
- Added Party Hat (7th Birthday), issued during Rec Room's 7th Birthday celebrations in June 2023. It will not be brought back.
- Re-ordered all items to be roughly in order from 2016 to present day.
