The streamer cam is not available for Playstation, Xbox, iOS, Android, and Meta Quest. The streamer camera is only available on PC when using a VR headset, or on PC screen mode if you have at least 2 monitors. Please watch the video above for more information.
Enabling the stream cam
You can enabled the streamer cam through your watch menu;
Settings -> Advanced, Set streamer cam to "on", Then you can go into the stream mixer. For convenience, a shortcut is added to your watch menu called "Stream Mixer" as well for easier access to settings while the streamer cam is on.
Camera Views
Handheld Cam - The handheld cam is a camera that can be positioned manually by the player.
Follow - The follow settings will position the streamer cam behind the players head and will smoothly track any movements.
Face cam - The face cam is a reversed follow cam and will track the players head movement from in front of the player.
Teleport only - The teleport only view will track and follow only the player's teleport movements
POV - The POV (Point of View) setting will align the stream cam view with the player's VR view
Custom Points - Using Streamer Camera Points found in the Maker Pen, you can place and then switch to custom points on the room. You can set the name for these points as well. These points can be attached to gizmos.
Video Settings
Frame rate - The Frame rate setting will change the displayed frame for the stream cam, it can be set to 15, 30, 45, 60, 90.
Field of View - The field of view of the streamer cam will affect vertical and horizontal vision of the camera, it cam be set to 20°, 50°, 70° (Default), 90°, 120°.
Green screen - The green screen setting will add a green screen in 3D space at the set distance from the player, this can be set to 2m, 5m, 10m, 100m or off.
Light Intensity - This setting will change how strong the light created by the streamer camera is. Only you are able to see this light if this setting is enabled. This can be set to 0.5, 1, 2, 5, and off.
Light Range - This setting will change how far the light created by the streamer camera is. You must have the light intensity set to any value first. This can be set to 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8.
Audio Settings
Hear from - The hear from setting will adjust where the audio listener is positioned, setting it to Player/Ears will hear from the position of the player, setting it to Streamer Camera will hear from the position of the camera. If you're recording videos that you're intending to publish on a platform like YouTube, changing this to Streamer Camera is crucial.
Voice Mixer - This setting will adjust the volume from the voice of other players.
Recording/Streaming
The streamer cam does not have any recording capabilities on its own. The streamer cam just sends the different views to your screen / display. You then need to run an external recording program like OBS, NVIDIA Shadowplay, FRAPS, etc. in order to record / stream the output.
