Direct Messages
1. Open your Watch
2. Go to Experience at the top.
3. Scroll down to Safety > Receive DMs From. The default setting is Friends, which allows direct messages (DMs) between friends and favorites.
4. Move the slider right to Favorites to only receive messages from players you've favorited.
5. Move the slider further right to No One to decline messages from every player.
6. If you see the message below:

Click Settings on the right of the notification, then adjust the slider to Friends or Favorites.
Group Chats
1. Open your Watch
2. Go to Experience at the top.
3. Scroll down to Safety > Be Added To Group Chats By. The default setting is Friends, which allows group chats between friends and favorites.
4. Move the slider right to Favorites to only allow group chats from favorited players.
5. Move the slider further right to No One to decline group chats from every player.
